One photographer, or maybe two?
At most weddings, I work alone, and that works well. After all, one photographer is less noticeable than two. But sometimes your day is just too big for that. If you’re getting ready in different places or if the day takes place at multiple locations, something beautiful is happening in two places at once. I’m very fast, but I can’t be in two places at once.
In those cases, I recommend hiring a second photographer—someone from my own network who works in the same way, whom I’ll direct on the day of the event, and whose images I’ll edit myself. You won’t notice any difference in the photos themselves, but you’ll see it in how fully every moment is captured.

That completely depends on what your day looks like. My rule of thumb is simple: enough time to tell the whole story of your day. From the first butterflies while getting dressed, through the ceremony and all the hugs and tears afterward, to the party where everyone lets loose on the dance floor. I'm happy to help you figure out the timeline so we book enough time not to miss a single moment of your story.

Absolutely! I work all over the world and actually love working in new, unfamiliar locations! We’ll discuss the plans, the location, and your preferences in advance so I can provide you with a customized quote.
For weddings outside the Netherlands or Belgium, I charge an international surcharge of 500 euros.

Don't worry about that at all! I've been through this many times before, and it always works out. I keep a close eye on the weather beforehand and actively help you think of a plan B—whether that's a gorgeous indoor location or getting creative with umbrellas. In fact, some of my absolute favorite photos were taken during a spontaneous downpour!

You don't need to worry about this either. I work with a network of photographers I know and trust, who share my style and way of working. If I ever fall ill and can't make it, I'll make sure there's a reliable backup so your day is captured just the way you expect, no matter what.

It's totally normal to feel a bit awkward in front of the camera. Spoiler alert: most people do!
To help you get used to me before your wedding (and vice versa 😉), we can do a love shoot. It’s just a relaxed photo session leading up to your big day.
That way, everything will already feel familiar on your wedding day, and you’ll also have amazing photos to use for things like a save-the-date or your wedding website.

For larger weddings with over 100 guests or multiple locations, it's a smart idea to hire a second shooter.
The same goes if your day takes place across multiple locations, or if the bride and groom are getting ready in different spots.
My second shooter can hang out with the groom while I'm with the bride, so we don't miss a thing from either of your morning preparations.
